What is the difference between a mercury barometer and an aneroid barometer?

A mercury barometer uses mercury to show the level of atmospheric pressure. The units are millimeters-of-mercury (mmHg). An aneroid barometer is a mechanical gauge which uses an arm that pivots in the center to point out the pressure usually in kilopascals (kPa)
