Me surfing in Oahu Asked by oceanh3ro about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

are colleges not going to accept you if you dont have that great of score on one section of your sat and the rest arent so bad? And when you send your transfer to a college are school grades really that important to them

It depends on the school, but usually one bad score can bring you down, but it depends. School are definitely that important to them. It's probably the most important aspect on your application.

Lol, uhm well you gotta have the grades or the SATs... it depends on the schools, but some will look past your SATs if you've got really good grades, or vice versa (amazing SAT scores will get you in even if your grades are only so so). It isnt the end of the world though, if you dont get into the school you want, you can always start off somewhere else and transfer (as long as you do decent), and I dont think they ask for your SAT scores if you transfer with enough credits...
