Safe to eat?

are packaged foods that are cooked or smoked good to eat without being reheated in any way? like smoked salmon and cooked slices of turkey meats and etc...

Yes, absolutely, anything that is smoked or cooked, is just that...its cooked through, then rapidly cooled to preserve the flavor, then packaged and sold. All you need to do is open the package and either eat it like it is (like smoked salmon) or reheat it and serve (like cooked turkey). Think about cold cuts from the deli, they are pre-cooked, then sliced to order and put on your sandwich.
