Heyy, What is the right age to have s*x?? Just want to know...

IMHO, Marriage.

well legally its 16 but the ammounta people that have s*x before that is crazy my friend has a kid n shes only 14 but its messsed her life up a bit.. i think it depends on who its with if your in a good steady relationship and you feel ready then its fine whatever the age but be completely ready and make sure your not doing it because all your friends are. i nearly had s*x at a party with a lad i hardly knew but i knew i would regret it even tho i was very pissed i made a decision before the party i wouldnt because i didnt feel ready. i just think no one can make your mind up apart from you just dont do something you regret..xxx

The legal age of consent depends on where you live.
Each society of adults decide at what GENERAL age a person is mentally and emotionally grown up enough to make such a decision or choice for themselves; it is therefore inherently agreed that the older people and law enforcement will do all they can to protect their children by preventing them from having sex .
That said, most adults realise that some under aged youngsters ARE mature enough, and do not need protecting by this law.
They also realise that some youngsters can't be stopped from having under age sex and so understand that the responsible thing to do in that event is to inform and educate the children about love, sex and sexual health issues.
The desire to have sex can naturally start at puberty, its related to those hormonal changes that teenagers experience. I think its a good idea to try very hard to wait till at least the legal age before you get intimate with a partner.
Most people mastrub**e as a healthy alternative to sex with a partner - especially if your desires are strong and you are not in love with someone .Its also better for you to go steady with someone for a good few months before getting intimate.
Having a hand job is probably nicer than having sex with someone who you dont love- its also more respectfull to you both.
Remember of course, that sex means that you must be ready and willing to accept being a parent. Most pregnancies happen by 'accident'
The younger you are- the more fertile you are too!
In short- the 'RIGHT' time to have sex is when you are
1)an adult
2)been dating a while
3)in love, so the sex part is an expression of love and therefore a happy, healthy and guilt free experience.

I was 17...

I was 16 but wish I would have waited. I slept with my boyfriend at the time, bad mistake!! I thought I was in love but wasn't. I then slept with one more person and am now married to him. I really wish I would've waited for him. You usually regret your first if you don't stay together afterwards. All of my friends also regret their firsts.

If you're Christian, there's no right age. Wait until marriage. Otherwise, it's eighteen.

i waited till 16 and we are not together..only good friends, or was good friends... till i found out i might be pregnant...just be carefull, a condom dose not always work.

the legal age in california is 17 1/2 just in case you do get pregnant they set the age thing up that way...if i were you i would wait because i found out that condoms and birth control dont always work and now here i am pregnant.
