Yes, you can be arrested and held and even put in foster care. The reason most teens runaway is because of problems at home. If you're having problems at home contact a local social services program who can help you without you having to go through being arrested and putting yourself at risk out on the streets.

You could be arrested if you were running away for doing something real BAD. If you what to run away your perants well get worried.
