Rising beer cost

It might just be the area im in, but at any convienent store around, a 30 pack of budwieser is over 20 bucks. its usually 22 or 23 dollars. given transportation cost has increased, but still, thats just not right. just like a pack of marlboro's is...

over 5 bucks a pack, 6 in some stores. ny state tax I think, there trying to get us to quite smoking and drinking, and there just hurting us more. what the hell. I am trying to quite smoking though. how much is a 30 where your from

You're only 20,...so it's not even legal for you to drink...

Part of the reason for the high cost of beer is due to the rising costs of wheat (used in the brewing process) and transportation costs (fuel) The same can also be said about the high cost of smokes. Transportation is costing more and more. Keep an eye on the cost of fuel and you'll see what I mean.

If you really are worried about the cost of beer you might look into brewing your own. It's not that hard, and you can brew beer that is far better than Bud. There are several home brewing clubs in the NY state area that you could join, once you're 21.
