think that fox network reports the news and covers the issues

Royal Coronation 1967 Asked by etyhvh 5 months ago, 12 answers.

Do you think that Fox Network reports the news and covers the issues in a fair and unbiased fashion ex: Beck? Hannity? O'Reily?

Their rating have far more to fo with the rabid nature of conservative viewers. Most moderates and left leaning people are not rabid. They just don't watch cable news. And fox veiwers are usually so uninformed, they do not realize how misinformed the news they're watching is.

O'Reily, Hannity, and Beck are the true scum of the earth. They lie constantly. They don't care as long as there is a fat paycheck for them.

well I know I am in the minority on the subject of FOX network- but YES I agree with most of what BECK, HANNITY, AND O'REILY have to say.

given the choice of news channels to watch- I would pick FOX NEWS.

If I want JUST the news, sans opinion...yeah I like FOX News...at least they give you all of it...I don't watch Hannity because he's so HARD right...and rabid conservatives affect me about the same as rabid liberals. I do watch O'Reilly sometimes...but have only watched Beck a few times...

FOX must be offering something to the general public...since they stomp the crap out of all the other Cable News in ratings.

I don't think they'd have such strong rating numbers if the majority of viewers didn't like what they do - often their numbers are 3 X the others...very revealing.

I think it's the only channel conservatives have to turn to... Which means all the conservatives go there... I dont think it's an indication of anything more than a lack of choice... As for fair and unbiased? That's just funny...

Fox is like a tabloid but its an actual news station that's run by politicians. they bash the democrats, talk about britney spear, paris hilton, all the stuff people really don't care about.

I never said they weren't successful. They are very successful ratings and profit wise. They are a complete disaster when it comes to accuracy, integrity, fairness or balance.

Something doesnt need to be accurate or right to be successful. See last Bush Campaign.

Sure I agree that they are bias to some degree but all stations are.

There is no other network that is the propaganda arm of a political party like fox is.

Fox's ratings are largely a result of it having nearly 100% viewership of conservatives. Moderates and liberals are split among several news outlets.

Fox news is still on top but last I checked they are loosing viewership and News Corp is bleeding money while liberal MSNBC's ratings have doubled.

As far as demographics go moderate CNN and liberal MSNBC have been picking up viewers in the demographics that advertisers value while Fox has been flat.
