What do you think about this quote?

Alright, first off, I am a religious person (Catholic)...But I did come across this quote,and it made me think...Take a look.

While God Sleeps the righteous feed upon the meek.
What kind of father sits around and lets his children bleed?
Don't just stand there show us all if this is true.
That your love and mercy isn't for a chosen few.

that is a good line actually, well firstly im not a cathalic or am I reali religious I just know as much as I need to keep going. all I can say is loads of people will always question if there is a god. its up to you to deside this for yourself, lol one thing futerama sed that got me thinkin and laffing, well to b honest I forgot what it was but it sed something on the lines of if you do something good no1 will notice, if you do something rong every1 will notice, what if this is a way of god reminding you hes still here?? :S

Nicely written verse but absolutely not true....God loves ALL Mankind....as evidenced by Him sending His son Jesus to pay the price for our sins, thus enabling man access to Heaven....HE didn't HAVE to do that....HE made 'a way' (through Jesus sacrifice on the Cross) because He Loves you. It's up to man to either accept or reject - there's no gray area.

Yes. Thats what I believe...But I think this might be referring to the time lapse that has passed from when Jesus was crucified and now. The quotes makes it seem as if the "second coming" can't come soon enough.

I like this verse also. It sounds like the person is referring to a state of feeling left out from their God. Maybe they have strayed from their path and looking in another direction.

alright buddy you got it all wrong! God doesnt sleep.

I don't believe that God sleeps either I feel his presents everyday.God gives us free will.Some choose him others choose satan.If God was in that person's life ther would be no way they would feel that way.

First off, God doesn't sleep. Second off, He loves every single person on the earth and doesn't let tragic things happen without a reason. Of course I don't know all the reasons, I'm not God, but maybe sometimes He's trying to teach us a lesson..

The God I know does not sleep. Also, if the righteous are feeding off the meek, how can they be righteous? "By their fruits you will know them."

As for the question of evil and suffering in the world, when someone suffers, God is there. We may not recognize God's presence, but that is our failing. And God has acted to defeat, to end evil and suffering: he sent Jesus Christ to us. It was the only way to save what was worth saving in creation: had God blotted the universe out and started over, it would not be us who are saved! I, personally, am very glad that God loves me enough to make this effort for me!
