antitheist - I already know the truth
I say that because that is the ultimate truth, to be godless is to believe in one entity that can bring change and that entity is you, and not someone you read about in a book or hear in church

tired of my life? im sorry but what kinda bullsh*t is that? feel empty?
you know what, ill just go with it, I LOVE being empty, yeah when they used the suck-O-matic to take god out of my hollow inside it felt great, happy now...? kindly take your clubhouse elsewhere...

I'm Buddhist, and as it stands, if science can prove an aspect of Buddhism wrong, then Buddhism will change to accept that.

im atheist and honestly I dont feel empty. you dont need god to have a successeful and happy life. The biggest reason I dont belive in god is simply becuase I have no faith. Now I know thats hard to understand with people saying you just need to believe, and its not that I cant or have not tried, I simply dont have the urge or the instinct for faith. I believe god and god(s) are simply mans way of trying to justify are existence, give reasons to why we suffer or that in some way we can achieve an award for suffering are crappy lives (not saying you have so said crappy life). I simply dont have that urge to follow or beleive in god or any religion, I simply say im aethist becuase most people leave you alone

I am an Atheist.
Miracles are either not yet understood or misreported phenomena ... or trickery.
I'm not tired of my life, and I certainly do not feel empty.

I am a skeptic/rationalist.

I don't feel empty without 'God', or any other deities for that matter. I don't believe in miracles. I'm not tired of my life- I know I've only got one life, and there's no evidence to suggest any other life after death, so why not live it and enjoy it?

I'm an atheist.

I say god doesn't exist, because gods don't exist.

I am not tired of my life, nor do I feel empty. I feel my life is richer than yours, because I have accepted my mortality.

I do not believe in miracles, or anything traditionally supernatural.

I am open to the truth. That's why I gave up childish ways and became and quit believing in god.

***Tell me your religion***
I'm agnostic.

***and are you willing to change it for the truth?***
What truth, as long as it can be proven (OBJECTIVELY) then I'll reconsider.

***Like, many poeple say I dont belive in god, he doesnt exist and all that***
To many discrepencies for him to exist. Also where is your proof.

***-- well why do you say such things?***
Because it makes more sense then the idea of a god.

*** Wats your point of view in these discutions***
That there is no proof that god exists.

***... Arent you tired of your life, dont you feel empty and all that.***
Why would I be? I love my life and I love knowing that I HAVE CONTROL over my life and don't have to rely on some guy up in the sky somewhere or where ever he is to dictate what and what I can't do.

***Do you belive in miracles***
Not miracles in the same biblical sense that you believe in them, no.

***I want to know what you all think of theses questions, answer honestly.***
I think:
1. You're looking for trouble
2. You're probably someone who has never researched or even CONSIDERED other religions.

I’m an Atheist and I am not willing to listen to Supernatural BS stories, had enough over the past 39+years. NO gods exists, because there is absolutely no proof of it. Religious people need proof in their normal daily life, but when it comes to religion, rationalism walks out the door!

*** Arent you tired of your life, dont you feel empty and all that.***

Now why on earth would we feel tired of life!!! (count yourself lucky you’re not my keyboard right now!) Would you have had a fuller life if you believed in the Tooth Fairy??? Nooo, exactly why would anyone miss something that doesn’t exist? I actually felt more empty and tired of life when I was “religious” The helpless, dependant and repudiated feelings are enough to put any person in a negative state of mind. The reminders, time after time, of your dependence of a Supernatural being, makes you doubt your own abilities more and more! I really do not miss it at all, I’ve never been happier in my life than now! (and no I’m not living in denial) I’ve learned to appreciate the “only” life I’ve got, appreciate my loved ones and love nature even more, now that I’ve realized how amazing it “really” is.

Empty NO, much fuller life and appreciation than ever before!

Oh and miracles, they just don’t exist, only in people’s minds!
Your brain allows you to see whatever you so badly WANT to see or hear for that matter!

I know I'm christian and all.

but like I said before. I dont care about the whole religion thing.
when I'm in the Marines, I would rather Believe in and Trust the Marine standing to either side of me. Then to believe in something I cant see and Is probably not there.

The only TRUTH is... NOBODY KNOWS the truth. Any who 'claim' to know the truth, are actually LYING to themselves AND others.

I'm an atheist. I never truly had any faith in god or Jesus or anything. I honestly believe in ghosts more than god. I just finally realized that I had no faith, and it felt like I was lying to myself by saying I was Christian. But I still have morals, which so many people (where I live, at least) seem to think you lose when you are suddenly not christian anymore. (I live in south Georgia. Bible Belt.) I also always had this aversion to Christian things and the whole 'fellowship' thing. I'm not that terribly social, and I was Methodist, and it always felt like someone was trying to convert me; I hung around a lot of Baptists; they wanted me to be baptist instead of methodist, but baptists are into the whole fellowship thing even more.
Anyways, I'll stop rambling on. That's my experience.

My experience is similar to jane_of_the_jungle

I've seen life with and without god
and quite honestly I am happier and much better without it.

Infact atheism gives me more incentive to be a good person and I feel like I should be a good representation for other atheists.

I've always liked science and I find the world and life much more fulfilling explained through it.

I've had some down times but it's got nothing to do with my disacknowledgement of god, probably to do with, well, that's a whole other nut to crack.

--Do you belive in miracles--

No, I mean think about it why would god be making miracles for people when there are people living in poverty??
Usually what people claim are miracles, are just chance or science.

personally I have grown up in the church my whole life. but ya, I was curious as to what the world had to offer so of course I wanted to look around a bit. I decided I didnt want to follow something blindly. so I did my research and found that there is more scientific evidence proving that there is a god ( for arguments sake ill add or higher power)than the idea of nothing exploding and here we are (if it wasnt for the hard scientific evidence I probly would have walked away). Its a huge debate but if looked at with a truly unbiased open mind there are some intesting scientific fact ( creation vs evolution). I hate the idea of religion but I have seen so many people healed and I personally experienced my broken leg healed instantly and numerous people of cancer, for me to not believe in God would be ignorant. Miracles happen, but religion kills it. I believe God hates religion. ya you could call me a christian but I dont care about the label, to me its a relationship and when religion gets in the way nothing works.I speak in ( what the bible calls) tongues, I see healing and miracles, I would be foolish to say there is no God. I think the world has tainted our perspective on God to the point that its sounds silly to believe. I believe God doesnt punish people for sin, sin just keeps us away from him. The only reason people dont see him move sometimes is because they dont let him, religion gets in the way of him moving. I beleive the bible from cover to cover, lol it even says the earth is round, a huge majority ( I forget the percentage) of the prophecies in the bible have been fulfilled. I dont necesarrily follow the stereotypical lifestyle that people think a christian should walk, but I would like to eventually grow into it and fully give myself, cus when that happens serious miracles happen, im not lying or making this up when I say I have met people that raised people from the dead, bones grow out of stubs, blind eyes opening. Its amazing what can happen when the holy spirit flows. Thats just the way I look at things lol no offence to anyone, peace.
