What's some good volunteer work in san francisco?

I'm a young proferssional who would like to use my computer skills for a good volunteer programs for a few months.

Will be treating this like an unpaid working holiday.

There are TONS of things to do.

There are humane societies, animal rescue groups, forest and nature groups, music performance nonprofits, art in schools, senior citizens groups, etc.
