Really cute dresses?

I want to find a really cute dress for this dance me and my friends are going to soon. It needs to be appropriate.

I have no idea what I'm looking for though.
I don't want it long. But I don't want it too short.
I don't want any sequins or ruffles or...

any of that.
I just want a really pretty dress that will make
everyone jealous in a way. Well not jealous,
but make them say wow. You know?

There's not really a price range, I'm just looking for now.
Maybe if you help me find one that I love but it's too
expensive I'll look around for cheaper ones that look
similar too it. I don't care right now though.

Any dresses or stores in mind that I can buy or order from?

Find a fitted (or a more flowing one if your a larger size) dress that is strapless and cinch in the waist with a wide belt in any colour you like. You can find a basic no-frills dress and use accessories to make it wow. I bought a black strapless dress and wore a thick shiny red belt at the waist and wore leopard print high heels and black bag - it sounds a little tacky when I describe it but it looked really good and funky. I don't know what stores to suggest as I am not in your area. Keep in mind to work with your body shape. If you have good legs then buy a short dress but cover your top half so you don't look slutty. If you have a good set of boobs then buy a halterneck dress with a slight v neck and a long necklace but don't have the dress short. You need to balance it out depending on what feature you want to emphasise. Black is always slimming if you need that, but red and pink are great eye-catching colour. Big patterns and horizontal stripes can make you look wider also so keep that in mind. Don't buy a halterneck if you have broad shoulders as you will look top-heavy. Go to a shop where the salespeople know how to advise you best
