I know you're a guy, so you might not worry about this too much, but my only warning about the Rastafarian religion is that it seems really sexist. I had loads of Carribean women friends when I lived in England, and nearly all of them were single mums because the Rastafarian dads wouldn't care for their children. At least, Rastafarianism was their excuse! Maybe in the true religion that doesn't happen.
