why do some american's hate spanish people?

I'm sure not all americans hate spanish people

just a couple you have probably heard of

I've herd people say that they do not like people speaking spanis around them because they are just paranoyed that they are talking abou them. to me this is rediculous because why dose it matter. your talking about them.

I think it is because that now they want us to let them say the pladge in spanish(wich is wrong)

I dont have nothing against spanish people, one of my best friends is a spanish person, I just dont like the fact that everything in america has adjusted to them, I mean I seen a spanish commercial bout football, I mean this america everybody speaks english and I dont mean to be offensive but why are we the ones that has to learn spanish and everything has two labels and pages after page with both languages on it, if they want to come here fine but be legal and know english, thats my only thing, but I dont hate them and im not raciest, like I said I have spanish friend and she knows how I feel bout everything and it doesn bother her actually she understands

Not everyone american hates spanish people.. there are some mad cool spanish kids I know. but then theres the other kind that go on welfare and have a lot of kids just to get OUR (us who actually work for our money) money. some of the stuff is gettin kinda ridiciulious like my mom's friend got pregnant and needed some money and tried to get foodstamps, and they pretty much straight out told her that she couldnt cause she was white. now that just aiiint right! but I love everyone! peace and love

I've always wished I was Mexican. Or that I could speak spanish fluently, but I can't . Anyway, people are just ignorant and they just don't like having something they aren't used too. I think a lot of Americans are racist more now because they assume that all mexicans don't pay taxes, or that they are here illegally. Because, that's what the news says...I'm actually okay with someone speaking spanish, or their being something spanish on my television. I really don't have a problem with it. I think America needs to accept things more, stop being so lazy. Why don't we learn Spanish? It'd help us out a lot more too. Everyone is so ahead of America in education and things. Kids in other countries can speak like five different languages, because they've learned them since they were little. It makes me jealous.

The same reason ANY individual hates ANY group or race of people... usually for the wrong reasons.
