What to get my girlfriend for valentine's day?

Hey people
I don't know what to give my girlfriend on Valentine's. She said she does not want anything expensive and that she would like something hand-made by me. Problem is, I'm not very good at crafting. I was thinking of buying her a white gold ring, but rings are given to fiancees or for marriage and we're not ready to get engaged yet.

instead of taking her to a fancy resteraunt, you could invite her over and you two could make dinner together, OR you could make dinner while shes watching you. you could also make food and go on a picnic together...

um usually roses are romantic!! like red= love. White= friends. So I say that you give her a red rose, and take her somehwere special!! because if she knows that you love her then you really dont have to GIVE her anything, but if you do just something that she likes and things like that. cause I'm sure that anything you give her will be perfect!
