Questions about windows vista

Is windows vista good or not ?> does all softwares that works with xp , work with vista?

Vista is Horrible, Its abit easier to use then XP and allows you to upgrade the Hardware to bigger better pieces that it will read and XP will not. But thats only if your a gamer or multi media person, I say you should stay with XP there is nothing wrong with it, all the bugs are worked out and its fast. Vista is fairly slow, and has a lot of bugs and still needs a lot of work. Aswell with Vista they have stopped making it and stopped making upgrades and service packs for it because its a failure and they know it (just like windows NT & ME), So they have been working on a new Windows since the failed launch of Vista, Its Called Windows 7 and it should be out next year (2009). So I would suggest stick with XP until Windows 7 comes out, you will be much happier and worry free until the new OS arrives.

It requires a decent computer to run it and it's confusing at first because some things have changed. It also has some decent features, but it also has some really annoying ones. The ease of use is the same as XP's, because it all depends on getting used to the operating system. After three days, you'll be able to use it just like XP. However, some software does not work with Vista and some hardware is not supported (yet, because companies haven't developed drivers yet or they are never going to because they get no real profit from that).
A lot of kinks were worked out with Service Pack 1, but just like any other operating system, it's not perfect. The question is, do you want to pay $300 for essentially the same thing in a new coat of paint?
