Question on copyrights and licenses.

Hey guys, I was wondering a few things for a book I am doing.

Number one is names, Can I get in trouble for using the name, Say, Zangetsu from bleach for a character name, ( Who is also a sword master. )

Or use similar things to bleach yet again, I...

wish to incorporate a magic system similar to bleach where its like. Name, Encantation, Word to activate

Also, For my story I want to use the name of a move or two from Yu-Yu hakusho, And naruto. However just the names, Not the move itself..

Basically the big point is, Can I get in trouble for writing and possibley publishing a book that takes names from things? And that are similar but not the same... ( I mean some of them are way different, For example I want dragon of the darkness flames from Yu-Yu hakusho as a name, But It will be summoning a giant dragon. Not shooting a fireball thing )

You should ask permission from the creater first, otherwise you could get in trouble. But people who say they are drinking Coke in their don't have to ask the Coke people if they can, so it's your call. But I recommend asking, just in case. An email to them may go through, but I don't know.
