Would you try to contact your sister?

How would you feel if you found out that your father had sex with a woman other than your Mom and they had a baby who would be your sister and the same age as you? Would you try to contact the sister, keeping in mind that she thinks the man that raised her is her real father and has been all her life?

What if both of you were 54 and all parties (parents) were deceased?

I'm asking you because I usually agree with your advice.

I think its worth a shot - if I had a sister out there and I didn't know, I would want her to contact me. You really have nothing to lose in this situation, it will either work out or it wont. I have a feeling that if you don't then you may later regret it. Just think about what you would want it you were in her shoes.

I'm not sure, but, I wouldn't have any contact.
I don't know how I'd feel if my father had sex with someone else other then my mother. I would probably react differently.
