Pumpkin decorations, is your jack o lantern ready for halloween?

Is your jack o lantern ready for halloween? We went to a school carnival with some friends today, and the kids did an incredible job decorating the pumpkins. Have you already decorated a pumpkin for hallloween? Any ideas on the best way to decorate a pumpkin?

The kids want to carve some up, and these have been painted, so we'll probably get a few more - any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

You can usually buy stencils and tools for pumpkin carving either at the craft store and around halloween time you can even find some at the grocery store. If you buy a kit, there are usually directions on how to carve the pumpkin included within the kit.

There are also some foam type pumpkins that you can carve out that you can buy at the craft store. The thing I like about the foam pumpkins is that you don't have to dig out the center gunk inside the pumpkin (which I really dislike doing).

I hate Halloween. Crazy kids come ring my bell and expect candy. Even worse, crazier parents blow their horns in front of my house for me to come out with candy.

Can't say it enough, I hate Halloween.
