Pugs are great pets, but it's true they can have many health problems. One look at those cute faces tells you that they've been bred to look that way. Their nostrils can be too thin, making breathing difficult...those eyes seem to catch every bit of debree flying in the air...and eye infections are very common. Being born with inverted eyelids is also common. They are very straight legged, so slippage of the kneecaps is also, common.

If you buy one, make sure it's from a repuitable breeder. DO NOT buy one in a pet store.

They are loving, sweet, and playful dogs...great with kids, too!
