The book that comes with your PSP explains the process.
Plug your PSP into your PC with a USB cable.
On your PSP go to Settings (leftmost menu), move up and down until you come to USB Connection and select that.
On your PC your PSP should now look like an external drive.
If you don't have one already make a folder called MUSIC
Put your mp3 songs in this directory.
go to any site with downloads, (i use mp3000.net, but watch out for the ads on the side, bit naughty they are) and download somewhere u can find them. plug in ur PSP with the PSP-USB port on ur computer, and open with a folder. open up psp, and keep looking for MUSIC folder. if its not there, go to PSP folder and make it, but it has to be all capitols. then, just drag and drop the music into the folder.
