What are the pros and cons of having a nose stud?

I’m thinking of getting one but I’m not so sure of what to expect.

Pro’s: -Cute -Small -Don’t restrict you from MOST jobs. -Minimal Scarring Con’s: -Can irritate you during allergy season. -Sometime’s can get pulled out by threads in your sheet’s/pillows when your sleeping. -Minor Scarring.

I heard the hole doesn’t close up, if you ever wanna take it out… I don’t know if thats true.

Pro’s:

-A nose piercing is not permanant. -You can change up your look by using different types of jewelry. -Most jobs now DO accept small nose piercings as it’s the most commen piercing besides ear lobes now. -Once it is healed you can take the jewelry out for a day or two without the hole closing if you needed too.

Cons: -Some jobs/schools still do not allow nose piercings. -If it becomes infected it is on your face and very noticable. -When you get a cold - well let’s just say it can get pretty gross. -As with any piercing there is a chance of your body rejecting it and scar tissue.
