I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out how proper and common nouns have anything to do with the social service worker program. If you can get back to me as soon as possible that would be great.

A proper noun is capitalized, such as the name of a person, "Jeremy" or a city, "Cupertino". A common noun isn't capitalized.

With regards to a social service worker program...I have no idea. You can work in social services without knowing these things, I'm sure, but it does display a lack of basic language education which an employer might find troubling.

Hope that helps.
