Peonies are very pretty, as their petals are merge and they come in a variety of colors.

Here's one of my best flowering shrubs that you can grow in your area, it gets covered with flowers in June and September, and they last a long time. It's a Weigela, "Bristol Ruby." Behind it are some wild daisies that I just left to grow in the lawn. It also attracts hummingbirds!
