Presents for my parents?

What homemade stuff I can make for my parents, for New Year?? I usually buy them stuff, but I think they would be really happy when they see something I have made myself with my own hands, and something I have spent time on...

appreciate that more then something bought from a store.. It takes few minutes for that...
So are there any stuff that I can make for my parents as a present??

For your Mom you can knit her a scarf. yarn knitting needles are cheap. I'm sure there are many websites that teach you how to knit (if you can't find any then I can find some for you) or you can buy an instructional book. it will be worth it because you can use them over and over! (:

knitting is actually very simple relaxing. I thought it would be hard, but after learning to do it, it was easy.

What about make food, like make some cakes, or something edible, I know for sure my parents would like it, Or if you can't cook get a friend to help.
or if you can draw and paint make a nice picture.
Or get a photoframe and put a photo of you or if you have any siblings a photo of all of them in together
