Cool ideas for presents?

What are some cool ideas for presents??? I want to make presents for my friends as it's their birthday, any ideas?? Something unique but awesome!

...you didn't mention boy/ girl, their hobbies, etc... So, here's my best guess:

A. Autographed thing by celebrity (you can get some stuff like this on eBay, etc.
b. Anything they've been drooling over in a local shop, but didn't buy for themselves.
c. Cool present for a guy, a night out clubbing in a limo with a VIP table nice hotel room...well, that could work for either gender.
d. A ore loaded digital picture frame with photos of the two of you on past adventures.

That's it for me... With some detail about who we're shopping for and budget, I think I could do better.
