Could I be pregnant even though the tests were negative?

I'VE BEEN ON BIRTH CONTROL 4 OVER A YEAR. LAST MONTH I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX WHILE ON MY PERIOD. I MISSED MY PERIOD 4 THIS MONTH. I HAVE BEEN HAVING SHARP PAINS IN MY STOMACH, IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE 2 THROW UP BUT I NEVA DO, AND IT FEELS LIKE MY PERIOD IS ABOUT 2 COME ON, BUT IT NEVA DOES. I TOOK 2 PREGNANCY TESTS 2 DAYS AFTER MY MISSED PERIOD AND THEY WERE NEGATIVE.COULD I BE PREGNANT?

Unprotected sex always has the possibility of turning into a pregnancy. So if you did have unprotected sex you do have a chance that you can be pregnant. The fact that you are and have been on birth control for over a year is not always 100% effective, especially if you are not consistent with the time you take it or if you ever miss a day. I don't know if it's true or not, but I have heard you can't get pregnant while you are on your period.. but Rumor has it that sperm can live up to like 7 days or so, so maybe that's what happened. How late are you on your period this month? like days? weeks? or what? If it's just a couple days, I'd give it a while and see what happens, maybe the stomach pains and nausea are from your period about to start. Several things in life can set your period to be inconsistent, like stress, exercise, etc.. If you don't start your period soon I'd Probably recommend going to the Dr. to get another pregnancy test and go from there. Good luck!

Yes you could be. I have 4 children and I took pregnancy tests when I thought I was pregnant and they came out negative when I actually was pregnant. Go to an OB/GYN and have a test done there or blood test. And it's also none of my business, but if this was with someone random you may want to be checked for other things. If it is with someone you love I apologize for bringing that up. You just have to be so very carefull these days. Good luck.

if you or under 19 it is a chance that you or birthcontrol does not always work .I was on the pill at the age of 19 and my doctor at the time says that it is a chance that the pill will not work . and I never missed a day of taking the pill and found out I was so you need to go to you gyn and get tested and some tomes store test don always work god bless ang good luck
