Why are the pores on my face larger than before?

they may be getting clogged! you shud wash your face w/ pore minimizing scrub than see a dermatologist if it doesnt clear up!

Pores look larger when they are dilated, infected, or clogged with oil. Mostly, large pores are just caused by oily skin. Although there is no way to shrink them permanately, there are ways to make them look smaller and conceal them. Try to exfoliate your face often. You want to try and make sure you get as much as the dead skin off as possible. Before you put on your foundation, use a skin primer so your foundation will not soak into your pores. Try to use a cream to powder or cream foundation. Also try using a powder to dust over your face to smooth out flaws. Hope this helps

I have heard that pore sizes are genetic.. (I have no idea if thats true!?).. But there are ways to shrink them back down!! I found this:

"Ice Magic to Shrink Pores"

1 cup fresh chilled lemon juice
ice cubes, as required

--One must avoid hot showers in this case as a rule of thumb if suffering from large pores because hot showers will only make the pores get bigger.
--Before using foundation, rub ice cubes on the skin where you have these large pores.
This serves a dual purpose: One of shrinking the pores, and secondly, of not letting the foundation block the skin.
--Next, one has to take chilled lemon juice and dab it on the open pores, several times, layer after layer.
--This should be kept on overnight.
--After doing this treatment regularly, every night, one will see that the pores have shrunk and also that the skin looks less oily and better!
