Pokemon leaf green

Ok. So, I'm in cerulean city. I went to the cave, and the guard says I have to beat the elite four before I can go in. But after I beat the elite four, prof oak and my rival lead me out and then the credits roll. I've done it like 7 times and it always...

happens the same. Help pl0x? I seriously want to get into that cave.

lol you have to beat the elite four then wait for the credits to end then go back to the cave and you can go in
DO NOT RESTART GAME lol

okay you have to go to the volcano in 1 island and get the ruby. then go to another, 4, 5, 6, or 7 and get saphire. you should be able to go in now, because you have to do something amazin to get uin. (give the are and s to the guy in the 1 island pkmn center
