How do i get over my fear of singing in front of people?

what is I am shy how will I ever get over my fear of singing in front of everyone I will sing in front of lots of people but I would me scared but than get over it after I see eveyone likes it but y

Well if you want to be a singer we are going to have to get you over that stage fright now aren't we. Just practice. One you can always record yourself and have a close friend or family member listen to it and give you positive feed back.

Next once you are confortable get a small intimate group of family and friends together and put on a mini concert and try to get a feel of why you have stage fright in the first place.

To be honest with you some of the greatest of all time still get that knot in their stomach before they go on...it just the the thrill of being a star that out ways the jitters. If its meant for you, you'll figure the perfect way balence on how to deal with it. Good Luck.

If you practice heaps you get more comfortable with your voice... do you get lessons? because that helps heaps.

heaps means a lot.

doing scales on the piano and trying to get your voice in tune with it helps a lot... especially chromatic scales. you can probably find them on the net.
