How to get middle school kids involved in an assembly?

How do you get middle school children involved in assemblies?
We are promoting a CD and we need to involve the audience so they remember us!

What if you have them all get up dance, move around.
Or even have like dance contests for them??

Give 'em all a free disc

There are about 200 students...

At the start say that you'll ask questions at the end about your assemblie and the people who answer correctly will get a free CD.

If you want it promoted then do it!!! Free stuff is always good. besides if the band hits is big, it will be worth it!

Or... do a contest to win a disc, maybe make some t-shirts.

Get the cool kids involved. Anything that involves the cool kids is sure to get attention.

Kinda pathetic but it's true

have a concert of who's cd it is if it would be aloud... have dance do a contest thingy like the person above said... maby have a mini talent show and whoever is the best give em a free c.d... get their attention with exciting things
