okay I'm 19 my boyfriend and I frequently have unprotected sex (we've been together for three years well almost four) when we have sex I sometimes get a sharp pain in my right pelvic area(near rmy hipbone and usualy when I'm on top) he doesn't have a hook or anything so that's not it. And I've been frequently getting uti's I do drink a lot of soda which is what my mom said is causing it but I've laid off of it a bit and it's helping. but I also think I'm getting some swelling after sex and I'm not sure if thats normal or not and I'm getting really red, is that normal?? also if he "goes" in me then the semen comes back out usually when I laugh or stand up for long periods of time. I'm not really sure if all of it comes back out but I think a good bit of it does possibly.. that's the part I really need to know if it's normal or not PLEASE HELP ME I've been wondering this for about a month now and I don't have health insurance some kind of guidence would be great THANK YOU

He's ejaculate coming out of you when you stand or laugh is completely normal. (what goes up must come down!)

If you are sexually active you should be getting annual pap smears and check ups with a gyno to keep your sexual health in check. Frequent STIs and your pelvic pain are not normal and you should see a doctor.

You should also discuss birth control, unless of course your goal is to get pregnant.

Getting a uti can be caused by intercourse. It happens to a lot of people. A doctor would just tell you to drink a glass or two or water before you have sex, and pee immediately afterwards. They are normally caused because of bacteria being pushed up into your urethra during sex. Peeing right afterwards washes the bacteria back out, result...no utis! And yes it's normal for most of his "stuff" to come back out of you.

As for the pain, it could be caused by an untreated uti or something more serious. I would recommend that you take a trip to the clinic. Yes, it will cost you some money because you're not a minor, but it's your health, so it's worth it.
