I wasn't aware you could be arrested for just having a suspended license. Even though you weren't driving I wasn't aware that was even legal. Driving on a suspended license is an arrestable offense, sure. Just possessing one isn't arrestable, I don't think.
Best bet to avoid all this, however, is to quit missing school. Hate to say it but since you chose this path you have to, unfortunately, accept the consequences.

Missed school, drivers license suspended, now court?
okay, here's my story. I got a letter in the mail stating that my license would be suspended if I missed another day of school. I guess I missed another day.
then, about a month later, Im in my friends car (in the back seat) and we get pulled over...
because the music was too loud. the cops asked for everyones ID, and asks me if I knew my license is suspended. I said yeah, I knew it was going to be, but I handed my letter from the mail into the school. the cops put me in handcuffs and threw me in the back of a cop car and said this is for carrying a suspended license on you and knowing it. I was like what?!
now I have to go to court on December 16th.
what will happen in court if anyone knows,
I'm 17 and I live in Florida.
