Please give me good advice

Asked by hearme 11 months ago, 5 answers.

I slapped my husband because he was being a real jerk . I know it was wrong to smack him but, after I did that he choke slammed me to the ground and began kicking me in the back I have a busted open knee and huge bruises on my back.. I called the cops...

and now he says it was all my fault and he will never forgive me for calling the cops on hiim for doing nothing. How can he say he did nothing and blame it all on me. can someone please give me some good advice and tell me if it was all my fault? Did I deserve to be treated like that because I simply smacked him.

NOBODY deserves to be treated like that regardless what they did or said. I'm sorry but your husband is a coward. He's the one that's supposed to protect you. A real man would've walked away. You did not deserve that! I hope everything works out.

Absolutley not.
NO man has a right to lay a hurtful finger on ANY woman, ESPECIALLY his wife. You shouldnt care if he's mad at you. What were you supposed to do? Sit back and let him take advantage of you?
Honestly, in my opinion. Leave him. This EXACT thing happened to my mother. I know you probably feel like crap.
But any man that makes you wonder if doing the right thing (which you did) was the wrong thing to do, then he's not even worth your breath.

I suggest you leave him. If he can hurt you once, he can sure as hell hurt you again. No woman, deserevs to be treated like that.

God bless, and good luck.

totally not your fault... if I got pissed enough at my boyfriend to slap him he would never come back at me like that... your husband has a problem and you should get out while you can... I know it sucks... but you have to protect yourself... good luck...

2 wrongs don't make a right. You certainly do not deserved to be treated that way, though. In my opinion, I don't think any man should hit his lady friend, girlfriend or wife. It's just wrong. No person should be hitting or beating their partner, for that matter.

Anyhow, Is this something that happens often? To me it sounds like you guys need to do something about these issues before they get even worse. If this is something that happens often, perhaps marriage counseling? Either way, I strongly suggest you get help with this or leave the situation.

Stay safe.
