Is there any way for my PlayStation 1 to connect to my lcd TV?

My tv only has the blue green and red connecters but the ps1 has yellow white and red so when I plug it in there in no sound and it is in black and white and fuzzy :( I really wanna play Final Fantasy VII

Your best two options (three if you have a PS2 or PS3) are:

1.Try using the S-video input to play on the PS1. 2.Buy component cables (all same connections on PS2). 3.Play on a newer console.

The reason it appears to be black or no video is because the console renders mostly in 240p and 480i, both outdated formats compared to LCD/LED TVs made in the last 5 years. Most can’t recognize the older input.

What is the S-video input and my ps3 won’t play it and my mom won’t let me bring the ps2. Down to my room cus she has been playing it recently
