Taking it late definitely decreases it's effectiveness (lets just hope all the sperm was killed off and you didn't ovulate.)
I'm assuming whoever prescribed it to you explained how it works?
It all depends on if you ovulated while active sperm is present.
PlanB won't effect the results on a pregnancy test. Go ahead and take one now, and take another in a week or so.
