You must have herd of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation WGA for short...

windows update will update this file and you will have to update your WGA crack

its illigal and if caught youll have ya arsed fined like anything by microsoft

this may be true but my borrowed download of copy of w7 at least boots my failing hard drive from the disc when genuine windows fails. this is important because once you replace your hard drive there is no supplied software any more therefore you are stuck with shelling out for more microsoft profitware

chances of you getting caught are unbeliveably small and you wont get in that big troubles if you do get caught! or actually you would but it would be really hard to prove its a pirated version unless you do something stupid. but of the same reason microsoft probably cant be arsed anyway so as said before chances are damned small! though I have a computer with a pirated copy of winXP and it discovered it was fake and the only thing that happened was that some window started to pop up everytime I start it (dont use it anyway) so my advice would be to make a recovery disc with your current windows and install the pirated win7!

or you could even dual boot it! when dual booting (im dual booting winVISTA and ubuntu) a screen pops up at the very start when you turn on your computer which lets you choose which operation system you wanna use this time. and if you doesnt choose any (just lets it be) it will just select the operation system at the top the screen (hopefully thats win7). so there really aint much of a problem
