How do you know if you have pink eye?

hey guys how do you know if you have pink eye??will it get pink at first or will it take days??because my eye hurts>>

it might not necessarily be pink eye it could be a sti or your eye could just be killing you trust me I know I thought I had it but I didnt it is air contageous so you could catch it if someone looks you straight in the eye if they have it or if they have touched their eye and then touch your hand and then touch your own eye or you could catch it in the air period anyways there are a bunch of different ways of getting it like usin other ppls make-upanything that has something to do with puttin on your face but if I were you you would be better off going to the doctor than to be asking for anyones advice not thats bad to ask for advice but you need to go or call a doctor asap before it gets worse cause if it is pink eye you could give it to babies or friends family anyone and they may be allergic to it or whatever anyways thats pretty much all that I can tell you right now so later

it will linda hurt, then get pink after a while, especially if you go 2 sleep, then look at it when you wake up. sleeping does that (u change when you sleep I mean)

if you have pink eye it will get all crusty and gross...but you do have to get antibiotics for pink eye it won't just go away on it's own...and if it's pink eye you def. don't need to go to school or work for a few days after you start the antibiotics...but yeah it could be a sti and those hurt like crazy so go to your doc and see
