Has anyone pierced their own tongue?

Has anyone ever pierced there own tounge ?

I have my tongue pierced and I wouldn't advise anyone to do it THEMSELVES. When I had it done, it took the piercer a lot of concentration to see where the major veins were and to line it up in the middle even though it didn't look like it to me. It hurts too so if one did do it themselves they wouldn't be able to keep their tongue out. Plus there is the risk of infection, loss of taste and speech detoriation.

Piercing your own tongue can be VERY dangerous. For real, cause there are a lot of nerves connected to your brain and stuff like that (I read it in a magazine), and can have a lot of serious consequences!!please don't do it, go to a professional!!
