if you haven't had your period for a long time, like if you just now started to get it, I think that your body isn't on a normal scedual for it like I have had mine for more than 1 & 1/2 years. and I still miss a period sometimes of course my body is totaly different then yours but I wouldn't worry about
Yes, it is normal and very common. It's usually nothing to worry about. Many girls have irregular periods, especially in the first three years that they have their period. Some women have irregular periods all their life though. Some women skip months at a time, while other women might get two periods in a month.
Other things can affect your period as well. Stress is the most common one.
However, when in doubt, you can always have an ob-gyn take a look to make sure everything is ok.
