Really bad period pains, how to help the pain?

Shark Atack Asked by funadvice about 1 year ago, 7 answers.

I started my periods properly for the first time last wednesday and now its sunday and I'm still bleeding and getting bad pains, is it meant to last this long? I thought it was only 2 or 3 days and during that time the pain decreases? I was a little sick...

before aswell and felt really dizzy and my back started hurting all over and I got a little scared. also I read that you can put a hot water bottle on your abdomen or lover back and it helps but this doesn't work for me, it only makes it worst around my back. please help!

I get really bad pains from my period too. one time I fainted because of it. grr. the cramps are horrible, my back hurts when I have my period too, and my period usually lasts around seven days, just so you know. sometimes I take tylenol to try to get rid of the pain. most of the time it doesn't help, but on rare occasions it does. I hope you feel better soon!!

babe your period can last anywhere from 3 days to 7 days... the pain can decrease but sometimes it just gets worse as the time goes by... take some midol it should help and if your a teenager then take the midol for teens because it actually works better for you then just regular midol... my back hurts all the time during my period just take some midol or pain reliever and also if you have anything like icy hot or bengay(sp) put it on it and it can help a lot because it helps loosen the muscle but yes it is normal... I've never actually been really dizzy from my period but I do know people that have...

Focus in something. Work on something on the computer; do a craft… anything to keep your mind off of your tummy!
