Period more than 3 weeks?!?!?

My 21 year old sister has been having her period for more than 21 days and well she can't go to the doctors because well she lost her health card. Well also I was wondering if it is now I serious matter and I know you guys aren't doctors.

GO TO A DOCTOR! Who cares if you lost your medical card, that could e very serious, I think O_O

wow...thats a lot of blood. My aunt had the same problem and she has endometriosis (I think thats how you spell it) and she has to take monthly shots for it...it was also a hasle for her to get pregnant...

She has to go in at some point. If it's been heavy for 3 weeks than she has to go in now. I once had mine for 9 months, but it was pretty light most of that time. It may not be the end of the world, but until she sees someone she cant know...

She may become anemic if she isn't already. Take her to the emergency room and have them to call her insurance company. You should be able to locate a group number from the packet she received from her insurance company. OR get your sister to call the insurance company. You don't have to have the card in hand when you get to the emergency room or to a health care provider, just a way for them to get in touch with the insurance company
