Double up on your birth control, if you take it. Take two pills a day until its gone, thats what my OB/GYN told me to do when I was getting mine to frequent and to long.

Definately take birth control pill, but make sure that they are the ones for the days that you are not supposed to be on your period, I've done this many, many times..Works every time..

you can get a certain pill from your doctor to delay your period.. you take it about 3 days before you are due and when you stop taking it your period will come on a few days later... just done that myself as I was going away camping to a rock festival and didn't want the hassel of having my period.
