Is it bad i haven't gotten my period yet?

My mom got her period in 5th grade and my older sister too. I am now going into the 9th grade and haven't gotten mine yet. Is this a problem?

No, I just got mine a couple of months ago!
Future freshman as well!
Maybe you have a delay genetically!
Everyone is fast and you got the bump in the road.
It is normal!!!!

Sarah, since your handle is SoccerStar, I presume that you are athletic. Being lean and athletic can delay the onset of your periods. Sometimes, women athletes stop having periods altogether.
