People today make me so upset

All I can do is stand by and watch how society negatively affects young minds and it upsets me. And I cant do anything as I see young girls pushed into situations that cause them to lose respect for themselves. And young boys grow up wanting to fight...

because if you don't then you're a pus*y. What is wrong with the world? I see kids doing things just because their friends want them to. Or not doing things because their friends aren't doing it. Do they realize that many oppurtunities will pass them by because the want to be cool with their friends? I see kids doing things that are so immature and stupid and they seem to think its funny and it reay hurts to see them or hear them do or say something ike this. I cant help but to think, Is this realy our future? Do I realy have to go out into the world with these people? Is the future of the world left in their hands? I see kids trying to befriend everyone, no matter what the cost. If they lose sight of what is important and everything important falls away from them as a consequence. It seems to me that it is just their insecurities that they refuse to acknowledge that forces them to do this? They lie to themselves saying it doesnt matter, and therefore the problem remains. I see kids growing up not caring about the people around them or how their actions affect another. I makes me feel this knot in my stomach all day everyday knowing these things are happening, and I just don't know what to do...I feel as though I must take control of the situation, but I don't know how to stop this, to make this better...Does anyone feel this way?

I feel the same way. Everyday I see people, mostly kids throwing their chance at a good future away. It upsets me that people are so easily willing to throw away their futures just to be liked or cool or popular. At least you haven't lost sight of your goals morals : ]
