Why do people support others who show "attitude?"

Not just on here, but in general. People seem to support those who seem angered by someone else and stand behind them.

But my question is, does the whole anger factor play any role in how someone supports (or lack of) another individual on a controversial topic?

Answer #1

I’m sure the whole anger factor contributes to how everyone else perceives the situation. When someone shows attitude, or makes a huge deal out of something that’s probably not-so-huge, people are more likely to step in and agree with or defend this upset person because of all the attention that has been brought onto the situation. Also, I think some people just thrive on creating drama, haha.

Answer #2

There are leaders then there are followers. People with attitude come from two places. Those who think they should be followed because they think they are rightous leaders to be followed and those that hope to convince you just for the numbers. Take the lead in choosing your own path. The numbers may not be as great but they hold a better value.
