How do I get a pen ink stain out of a cotton Tshirt?

tide bleach pen???? or try bleach for colored clothes if the shirt is not white, if the shirt is white, bleach should do wonders, but make sure not to leave it in there too long, bleach will eat up cotton like me at a thanksgiving meal

You might try this:

Ballpoint Pen Ink Stain Removal
1. Apply lukewarm glycerine. If the fabric is strong enough, tamp with a brush or spoon. Blot, pressing hard on stain. Continue until ink stain is removed. Flush with water.
2. Apply mild detergent solution with several drops of ammonia. Continue to tamp. Flush with water.
3. If ink stain remains, use either chlorine bleach or oxygen bleach. If using chlorine bleach, apply to ink stain and don't allow to remain on fabric for more than 2 minutes. Flush with water after bleach application. Apply vinegar solution to remove excess chlorine, the flush with water. If using oxygen bleach, allow to soak overnight.

Heya ink-stain friends... I just had an ink pen that i left in my shirt pocket leek all over my flight attendant uniform, I used the great advice of hairspray, and to my total shock the ink came out!!! FYI heres another tip to remove other stains... use lighter fluid ... hope this helps you... I can testify to the lighter fluid gets out stains being a flight attendant it gets out vomit, wine, and blood ... GOOD LUCK!!! =O)

Grease lightning!! ALso works on furniture. Use a scrub brush, spray and scrub!!

honest to God, hairspray. It's worked for every ball point ink stain I've ever had.
