Yes, it's legal. Your parents have to sign over a legal guradianship paper and have it notarized. I was a legal guardian of my friend's 15 year old for one year, I had basically all parental rights while she was in school, etc.
But don't do it. Don't let someone else's parent support you, even if they are into the idea or offered it. These little deals never work out all pleasant and shiny until the end. Michigan has great schools, I can't imagine Georgia has much better.

Hello, I live in Michigan and my girlfriend and her mom are moving to Georgia. Down there I would be getting a better education and I could easily get a job with her mom supporting me.
I was wondering if its legal for my parents to give me permission to move out of the state with another supporter. Thanks in advance.
