You're on earth - of course it's following you, your dynamic gravitational pull :-)

Right, but your answer didn't make sense.

The moon was traveling along just fine before she was born, and will continue after she died. She doesn't change it's path at all, let alone enough for it to follow her.

Amblessed, the reason I asked what you were talking about is because to me, it seemed like you actually thought you were correct.
The other answers OBVIOUSLY made no sense, so please don't accuse me of singling you out--I'm not that kind of person.

Oh I'm mistaken, you didn't single me out...or did you ?

If you're addressing me, I certainly don't - I'm far from perfect, just a sinner saved by Grace - >>> Amblessed, what are you talking about? <<< it is upsetting when a person says 'don't accuse me of singling you out', when there it is in 'Black and White' !! - I sincerely hope this is OBVIOUS to that advisor - I would think any person given the title 'Advisor' should be obligated to be accurate in their response and if they made a mistake, own up to it, I do - we shall see.

Look, if you have a problem with me, funmail me.
I don't think I did anything wrong or offensive.

Well, you did - it offends me when someone lies - I could have guessed 1) you would not apologize 2) do it here so others could see - at least you responded - I forgive you though, I make mistakes all the time also - but I do admit when I was wrong and I do it out in the open when required - forget it, Have a great day !!
