How can i make my boyfriend understand he's overprotective?

My boyfriend is super sensitive...example: if I dont call him at least every 4 hours to tell him what im doing have a 2 hours conversation then he complains he dosnt feel impotant I need to make him feel im portant. He also hates when I talk to...

other guys...super overprotective. But he tells me how mcuh he loves me cares about me. sotimes I go to bed crying because he drives me insane with his worrying...like wayyy over prtective I still love him he loves me like crazy. But I don't know how long I can take it. I've told him hes overprotective before but it went right through his head...how do I make him understamd??

He's controlling, possessive and insecure. He isnt overprotective. His concern isnt about you (that is overprotection), his concern is about what you might do to hurt him. P.S. classic signs to the start of an abusive relationship: constant monitoring, blaming you for his issues, claiming he loves you and that's why he's doing it, you feeling like it is your fault...

That's not overprotective, that's controlling. He is already having a negative effect on you. You told him about this oncne before and he ignored you. Time to break it off and move on.

Geez how insensitive can you get? Tell him that he really needs to mellow down and fast if he doesn't then consider if having him as your boyfriend is having a positive or negative effect on your life
