My parents won't let me go to my friends birthday because it's at night. What can I do to convince them.
P.S. They don't know his family.

well, maybe your family and your friend's family should have dinner 2gether so they can get 2 know each other. or invite your friend over 2 your house and introduce him 2 your family.

Let them talk on the phone, thats what my parents always use to do.. Im sure it will get better though as you get older. Now that im in highschool my parents let me go to any girls house and stay the night that I want, but if I mention nething bout a boy it is out of the question...

If they spoke to the other parents it might make a difference, but they're doing nothing wrong, looking after your best interests - they obviously Love you and Care very much - be thankful, many, many, many have parents that don't.

like most other people are saying, let them either meet or talk to the friend's parents on the phone. They can ask the parents "are you going to be supervising this party?" and if they say yes I'm sure your parents will probably come around. If not, maybe you could get one of your parents to come with you and they could just hang out with the friend's parents
